• Are all sixteen rooms ‘en-suite’? Yes. Two with showers. The rest with baths & showers. Full details can be found here.
• What time can I check in? 12 noon. Guests arriving earlier may park in our car park and luggage can be stored safely.
• What time is check-out? 10.30am. Later can be arranged on certain days.
• Do you accept credit cards? Yes. All major credit cards are accepted, except American Express & Diners.
• Do you have parking? Yes. We have a private car park at the rear of the hotel.
• Are all bedrooms designated as non-smoking? Yes. The Curzon Hotel is a non-smoking establishment.
• Are you close to the city of Chester? Yes. We are within walking distance & on a regular bus route.
• Is it possible to get a taxi into Chester? Yes. We can usually get a taxi within 15 minutes. The cost into the city centre is approximately £4.
• Are you a family run establishment? Yes. We have been here since 1996!
• Do you have a restaurant & bar? Yes. Our Restaurant serves dinner every day and the well stocked Lounge Bar has a fine selection of wine, spirits & beers.
• What kind of menu do you have? We have a monthly changing ‘á la carte’ menu with daily specials. Click here for a sample menu. Do you use local ingredients? Yes. Wherever possible we try and source all our fresh ingredients locally.
• Are you able to cater for alternative dietary requirements? Yes. We will always do our best to cater for all special dietary needs. A good selection of non-meat dishes is always available within our menu.
• What time is breakfast? Monday – Friday 7-9am Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 8-10am
• What time is dinner? Dinner is served every evening 7-9pm. Earlier times can be accommodated to fit in race meetings, theatre visits etc.
• Do you do Special Breaks? Yes. We like to think they are our speciality.
• Do you cater for family gatherings, re-unions etc? Yes. We are happy to tailor make a package to suit your needs & preferences. It is extra special when the whole hotel is taken over with one group..it is like one big house party!
• Do you accommodate stag & hen parties? No. We do not encourage single sex parties of more than six.
• What is a ‘Deva Break’? This is our special break available all year ‘round based on a minimum stay of two nights to include dinner, bed & breakfast.
• What does ‘Deva’ mean? This is the Roman name for Chester.
• Are you close to the Roodee Racecourse? Yes. We are within walking distance.
• Are you open for Christmas & New Year? No. We choose to spend the festive season with our family but we are open until the weekend before Christmas for Christmas shopping breaks.
• Do you cater for children? Yes. We welcome children and can do earlier meals for junior appetites.
• Do you have a cot? Yes and a high chair. There is no extra charge for these facilities.
• Do you have family rooms? Yes. We have two large family rooms with a double & two single beds and smaller rooms with a double & one single.
• Can you accommodate two adults & three children? Yes. One of our family rooms can also accommodate a ‘z-bed’.
• Do you have adjoining rooms? No but rooms can be allocated close together.
• Are you AA or English Tourist Board graded? Yes. We are graded with both, to a 2 ** standard. We have a percentage of 77% with the AA.
